Dear MeluXina users,
On December 1st starting 08:00 CET a rolling maintenance will be performed on MeluXina, expected to take up-to 2h. During this time, fewer compute nodes may be available for new jobs for a short time, but otherwise user impact should be limited. Nodes with running jobs will be automatically updated once the job finishes. Login nodes will likewise be updated, one per day to minimise impact. If you get disconnected from a login node, simply re-connect to login.lxp.lu to get a new session.
The following actions are planned for this maintenance:
* the login nodes will be upgraded to the latest Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.10 updates
* the compute nodes will be upgraded to the latest Rocky Linux 8.10 updates
* Mellanox OFED will be upgraded to a slightly newer LTS point release, 24.10-3.2.5.1
* various back-end servers and services will be upgraded to newer versions
